I went for a teeth cleaning and whitening procedure. I was not informed at all about the procedure or its potential aftereffects. During the whitening, the technician spilled hydrogen peroxide on my hand and burned me without even noticing. After the treatment, I was handed a pro forma sheet—usually given at the beginning of the procedure—which outlines the risks. One week later, I was still experiencing sensitivity and pain to cold on my teeth, so I went to another dentist. They asked how long the cleaning took because they noticed calculus was still left on my teeth. The dentist also pointed out that my gums were deeply "traumatized" from the treatment and were inflamed. I am very dissatisfied with the professionalism and care during my visit.
