Decathlon is a great place for all kinds of sports items. Good quality products at affordable prices. Staff are helpful and the store is well organized. Always a good experience visiting there.

It was a good experience overall 😇. Visited here to purchase Skating Shoes and Kit for my Kid 💫. Mr. Albin Thomas ( 2nd Floor ) was very good at explaining things and helped in fix skating shoes. Through out purchase he was very helpful 👌. Appreciate your efforts. Ample Car Parking facilities. Wide variety of different sports equipments. Overall all staffs approached was polite. Lift and escalator facilities available ✨️.

Good quality products. Vast selection. Ample parking space. New store in Palakkad. Mainly seasonal items. I was in search of winter clothes. Very few selections. If you are doing online shopping through their App, the size chart is misleading.

While it may not match the scale of its counterparts in Kochi or Thrissur, this store brings its own unique charm and functionality to the table. Unlike the typically large single floor layout seen in other Decathlon outlets, the Palakkad store features a two story structure with convenient underground parking a thoughtful touch for shoppers. Though it's relatively smaller in size, the store still offers a comprehensive range of sports accessories catering to people of all age groups. The product variety is somewhat limited compared to bigger outlets, and the staff count is fewer, but what they lack in numbers, they more than make up for in hospitality. The team is friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist especially when it comes to helping customers use the self billing system, which is user friendly and efficient. One notable difference is the smaller play area, but for most customers looking for quality and affordability, this won’t be a dealbreaker. Decathlon’s own brand of products remains consistent in quality and price, making it a go to destination for sports gear that won’t burn a hole in your pocket. Conveniently located near the Coimbatore main road and just opposite the South Police Station in Palakkad, this store is easy to access. While it may not have the grandeur of bigger Decathlon stores, it certainly holds its own and won’t disappoint. It’s a great option for anyone looking for durable, budget friendly sports products with excellent service to match.

Overall, it's a good store and a welcome addition to Palakkad. Notably, this is the first two storied Decathlon outlet in Kerala, which is impressive. However, the store area is relatively smaller compared to other Decathlon branches, and naturally, the product selection is also limited. All the staff members, including the security personnel, were polite and behaved well. That said, some staff members could benefit from additional training, especially when it comes to customer service and assistance. In general, I didn’t sense a strong helping mentality across the team, though a few were exceptionally supportive. Decathlon should definitely look into this to enhance customer experience. A few drawbacks we faced: Cycle service is yet to start, which was a bit disappointing. No proper facility for drinking water, which was inconvenient. UPI payments didn’t work at the self-checkout counters, causing delays. Overall, it wasn't a great experience, but it's still a good start for Decathlon in Palakkad. With a few improvements, it can definitely become a go-to spot for sports and fitness enthusiasts in the area.
