David's Vacuums - Greensburg

I wanted acknowledge the outstanding above and beyond service provided to me by Michael’s Trovato currently temporarily assigned to work at David’s in Greensburg as well as Robin at David’s on McKnight rd. Dropped my sweeper off at the Monroeville store on 11/18/22 to replace a cord. As of 11/26 no word from Monroeville re repair status. Called Monroeville multiple times with no answer or option to leave a message on 11/26/22. I then called the McKnight Road store and explained the situation to Robin who informed me the the Monroeville store was closed due to lack of staffing. He took my name and number and promised to get back to me. He then contacted Mike Trovato in Greensburg ( who apparently usually works in Monroeville). He called me back after hours on 11/26/22 and gave me Mikes number in Greensburg. I spoke with Mike who offered to drive from Greensburg to Monroeville after he finished work( 7:00pm) at Greensburg so that I could pick up my sweeper. I met Mike in Monroeville at 8:30 pm and successfully retrieved my sweeper. Mike was as gracious as could possibly be. Both Mike and Robin provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. They were absolutely great and went way above and beyond the call of duty( especially since each of the David’s stores are independent of one another). They are to be commended and if I were in a position to do so I would give them formal recognition and a bonus. Because of their service I will continue to use David’s vacuums.

On the front door it says "We repair all Makes" or something to that effect. A few months ago I stopped in the get a cord replaced and was told that they do not handle anything but their brand. Today I stopped in to see if they had vacuum bags for a Kenmore canister and was told they only carry DAVID Vacuum and one other brand The young man would not even look up the numbers I provided to see if there was a substitute. Needless to say I will never purchase ANY THING from this store and will tell everyone how their sign on the door is a blatant falsehood!!

I've been going to this store for almost 20 years. The woman working there today said they would only vacuum the OUTSIDE my Oreck with a shop vac for the $79 professional service fee?! Just the outside. What the heck is that all about? I can do that myself. I will be going to another location where they do a much more thorough cleaning for under $50 and offer much better overall customer service.

We took our vacuum for our annual check up and Jennifer was our sales clerk. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She treated us like old friends. So nice to be treated with such a pleasant attitude. She didn't try to sale us something we didn't need and we had our sweeper back in just a couple of days. Very happy with our experience and a huge thank you to Jennifer from 2 very satisfied customers.

Owner gives FANTASTIC customer service. Took two vacuums in for repairs. She helped me compare the new vacuums to my old ones, listened to what I needed in a vacuum, and in the end, this time around, repaired snd cleaned my vacuum and made it as close to brand new as I could get. It works as good as the day I bought it and she saved me a ton of money! I will definitely return to this store when I'm ready to purchase a brand new vacuum cleaner.
