Dakota at Shepherd Apartments

So I’ve been here a couple weeks now and I can honestly say… this is the best unit I’ve ever rented. Our apartment really feels like home. From the way the leasing office answers every question without hesitation, to maintenance, the valet garbage. This complex gives the works! Cindy was our agent and she is truly such a blessing and a wonderful lady to work with. Even the other agents are always pleasant to speak to if you need information on anything. I love the fact that the building is ALWAYS CLEANED! Right down to the pool. And the neighbors all seem like young professionals, friendly and mannerly. It just really feels like home here. I’m so happy to be able to be the first in our unit. For reference as far as distance… about 10-15 minutes to downtown areas for food, clubbing etc. 20 minutes to the airport if you work in aviation. And the area itself has Aldi, Walmart, Starbucks, and many fast food restaurants you would find in the galleria area as well.

This is my first ever apartment and I decided to move from Florida. William was nothing less than amazing and was so helpful throughout this whole experience. He walked me through everything and so far I love my new place. It is spacious, dog friendly and beautiful. Parking is easy, the staff is amazing, and the amenities are great!

Toured this beautiful property today. I must say, it's in the best location, easy access to the major highways. Office staff has a very inviting attitude! I'm still on the hunt for my perfect home but Dakota at Shepherd is on the top of my list! 10/10!

I was welcomed by Erica when I entered the property. She was very welcoming , very professional, and knowledgeable . Made my experience very comfortable as she was gathering all of my information and concerns of the property. I am very particular in my search for my new home and this one so far was the best with her customer service . The property was very clean , very modern , everything I am looking for . Cindy the leasing agent is absolutely a doll. So sweet, efficient and capable. The few times I had a conversation with William he was always professional and very kind. The apartments are gorgeous and a steal for the location and price! I have a two bedroom with a pool view and it shuts out all the street noise it’s so calming and peaceful. The finishes on these units were well thought out. The only downside I would say is that the pool has not been open since I started this process and there is no set date for it to be open. However since everything is still getting finalized I can understand. The hallways here are gorgeous!
