It was nice rooms and beds

On 5-10-2023 I went to visit my friends who had rooms here. I was supposed to meet them poolside. I was questioned on the way in and I was told I would have to pay $10 to swim. I said ok. Then I said that there would be about 4 of us for the little party. The Manager jumped in and said "no parties here! I'm the manager" . He said that four times in two minutes by the way. We walked back to the pool area and he asked a lady there who she was waiting for. A different person than who I was waiting for. He waved his arms at me again "no parties here! I'm the manager" I said but there's only four of us. He said get out and never come back!! I was more than happy to pay the $10. But the manager is one of the biggest jerks with an enormous ego I have ever met. He has no people skills. None

This is a perfect hotel for the traveler. The rooms are clean and sure the carpets are older but overall a good deal. The front desk people were super nice and provided me with some laundry soap. Much better than the hotel across the street! (That one had dead bugs all over). Thank you for your hospitality.

I had a great room . It was quiet and clean. It had a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker, and it had all the supplies. It had a great assortment for breakfast and it tasted really good It also had the most amazing young lady working the desk and running the kitchen at the same time. I've never seen a harder worker and she was friendly and helpful at the same time. She wasn't upset about bring stretched out on all the duties she was performing she kept a great attitude while running sound working hard.i enjoyed my stay.

Saw a review concerning the pool being closed. 2.22.23 still closed including gym. Just rooms and breakfast here. Breakfast was good and the front desk was friendly, Wanted to pay cash for the room, but was denied. I left a note to speak to the manager. Suddenly my card gets automatically charged. Waiting to talk to the manager IF he comes in. Rooms need some touch-ups from wear and tear. Actually had a leftover piece of candy on the floor. Overall staff is friendly. The refrigerator and microwave are a plus. Restaurant close to the motel with the gas station also. UPDATE: manager friendly and worked out cash payment.

The guy who checked me in had a personality of a wet noodle. When I mentioned my disappointment with the pool and hot tub being closed, he didn’t say anything!!! He was not friendly nor did he make me feel welcomed, He did not say anything about how to get to my room or breakfast hours. I’m hoping it’s more than a paper bag.
