Coombe Orthodontics

It was like a breath of fresh air visiting Dr Angela Coombe and her team. In the last two years I’ve seen 4 dentists. I first noticed painful symptoms of TMJ and was given an occlusal splint which wasn’t helping a lot. This was to fix a cross bite, class 2 malocclusion and overcrowding. This was only going to be a temporary measure and I knew eventually I’d have to get invisaline and or an expander. I sought the expertise and second opinion of other dentists, only to find that their advise was often wrong or misleading which lead to a great deal of anxiety and financial loss. Erina orthodontics would not even see me for a consultation due to my TMJ. I’d had been told I needed to have an arthrocentesis, Botox, cortisone injections and acupuncture. Luckily I didn’t have the athrocentisis procedure ( which is generally not successful or needed . All the other procedures made no difference . I was at my wits end. Dr Coombe had been recommended to me by several friends. I was sceptical and felt they no one could or would want to help me. I was wrong. Dr Angela was brilliant. Not only her extensive knowledge, expertise and professionalism , but her beautiful bed side manner, understanding and empathy. If anyone requires help with with jaw, teeth or TMJ , I highly recommend you make an appointment . I’m so excited to be getting my invisaline in 3 weeks. I only had to leave a deposit of $500 and rest is going on an interest free payment plan. My other dentist wanted $5000 dollars upfront. Dr Coombe and her staff, even stayed back half an hour as my initial consultation was quite complicated due to my extensive problems.

Dental Monitoring was super helpful for having treatment during Covid. I was able to send Dr Angela a video of my teeth once a week meaning both of us could be sure I was on track. I was able to complete my invisalign with only a few visits to the office and I could do the rest from home.

A lovely, friendly team, from the lovely receptionists, technicians to Dr Coombe herself. Such a refreshing difference from when I had braces 25 years ago! Convenient location and easy to make an appointment.

My daughter had her teeth perfected by Dr Coombe and Invisaline. Thanks to Dr Coombe for being able to close all the gaps (preventing the need for false teeth)....looks so good, I want to do mine now!! Dr Coombe Orthodontist is a very professional and affordable service.
