I used to be a patient of Dr. Wilson's when he worked with Mentally Strong. I moved out of the state temporarily and now that I am back in Colorado, I have endured a life event that has really aggravated my mental health condition. I was distraught - devastated - when I realized Dr. Wilson was no longer practicing at Mentally Strong. I didn't know what to do - this is who I trust with my mental health, and I find it very difficult to find mental health professionals that I trust. I cried tears of relief - tears of joy when I realized that not only is Dr. Wilson still practicing, but he has his own practice. Well deserved, and I can't wait to make an appointment to be seen by him again. This is a truly amazing psychiatric professional. I have androphobia and Jacob still managed to earn my trust, this is a massive feat on his part. If you have PTSD or have endured trauma, I highly recommend Jacob Wilson. He just 'gets' it, and he knows what to do. Never felt more understood by a psychiatrist than I did by this great man!

I wish sooo much that I could give Dr.Wilson more than 5 stars. I have never been able to recommend a doctor as much as I do Dr.Wilson. I am almost 33 years old and have seen many; he truly listens to you. He EXPLAINS any diagnosis and medication in great detail. And one of the best feelings; he is so understanding and doesn’t make you feel stupid. Even his staff, Abbey I believe is her name, is so sweet, welcoming and helpful! Thank you both
