No offer of at least a second drink or coffee and dessert, this is what was lacking from the experience .

The seafood Masterclass was superb. Delicious prawns, bug and scallops. Fantastic atmosphere, excellent insightful breakdown of the produce and cooking tips, and all for a good cause. What more can you ask for

A lovely place to sit but overpriced for the basic food they serve. I ordered the chorizo eggs and beans which were literally 2 fried eggs, toast & a small bowl of beans. I found a couple of tiny slices of chorizo in the beans. I could have made that meal at home within a couple of minutes for about a dollar. With a coffee it cost me $32 which seemed exorbitant. At least the coffee was good.

This place is great! Such a nice atmosphere, it’s like a trip back in time. The decoration is beautiful, the music and the attitude of the staff made me feel so relaxed and then the food… yummy

Disappointing visit back to Chew Chew. Monte Cristo sandwich basically toasted ham and cheese with a few chips at $23 hard to justify. Menu disappointing and has changed. Room temperature water available we were not asked if we wanted drinks. Would not recommend or return.

This place has the potential to be a really special little stop over, but the service is flat lining. Sign says wait to be seated and we waited there for ages with staff walking past and no one approached, so we asked to get ourselves a seat, I moved the dirty plates off and wiped the table myself, no one took our order although it's table service so I waited at the register until someone appeared, no cutlary served with food so we got that ourselves and although the menu says fresh squeezed juice we were served a concentrate orchy juice straight out of the bottle. The table next to us complained about being ignored also, plenty of staff around, just none that want to make eye contact. There was only a few bums on seats while we were there. $85 breakfast.
