Chattanooga Sawmill

I went to Chattanooga Sawmill looking for some live edge walnut for a project. Carter, the owner, was very helpful. He got several slabs out for me to look at. While I was looking, thinking, and contemplating layout on the slabs he went about his work. He never bothered me to hurry but he did answer any and all questions I had. He has a large selection of various species of lumber. His kiln is also top of the line. Prices are very good for his slabs and renting kiln space is very cheap. I will be back for more slabs as well as to rent kiln space. Thank you Carter.

This place is fantastic! The inventory is big with a wide variety of woods. Plus, they're able to mill and/or kiln dry anything I need. Great customer service too!

Do not buy this wood. We spent a lot of money on wood to have a pergola built. It is less than a year old and already big chunks of wood are crumbling off and nearly all of the top slats are badly warping and cracking. Terrible quality. Get your wood elsewhere.

Top notch professional, very hard worker and knows his trade well. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing sawmill services.

Have had Chattanooga Sawmill come to our place 5 or 6 times. Always does good work and has produced quality lumber out of our logs.
