Have been year somany times and havent regreted even once. Pakka Madurai flavoured Restaurant with all non-veg dishes. All time favourite for lunch. Pricing is slightly higher & had to wait during weekends but worth the wait for their flavour & tastes. The way they treat customers and homely serving is all make them a perfect family restaurant. Spl mention to their must try dishes like Mutton varieties, Neimeen Roast & Fish Gravy.
This is one of the must try place in madurai for mutton but the pricing will be on the higher side And most of the time biriyani won’t be available The hospitality will be really good and there isn’t any specific space for car parking

The pricing is very high and the taste is also not very appreciable. Mutton balls were worthy and nenju kari is ultimate. Brain fry was top notch and it's a must try recipe in this restaurant. The service was so polite and decent. Food quality and quantity is super good. If you look for pricing and taste this won't be your choice.
Chandran mess is one of the finest restaurants for madurai style food. Their mutton chukka, brain fry, mutton kolas and fish fries are must-haves. The gravies are mouth watering and are not too spicy and are children friendly. Ambiance is good and fully air-conditioned. Bearers are very friendly with high levels of hospitality. If at all having typical Madurai style food is on your checklist for Madurai, chandran mess is a must visit place.
