Cerdomus

Unfortunately my experience with Cerdomus was not a positive one, in fact it is up there as overall the worst customer service I have ever received. We were supplied tiles which proved to be faulty … after countless follow ups, we were given a replacement of stock, at one point were were told we must return our faulty tiles and collect the replacements - the tiles were originally delivered to site and we were shocked we were told that we had to go out of our way to return the faulty tiles ourselves. After debates over this, they delivered to site … our dealings regarding the overall replacement was less than friendly to say the least, the phone conversations were condescending, rude and challenging … the level of customer service was a disgrace and I made a point of raising this … finally the stock was replaced to which it too was faulty (let it be known they originally checked their Melbourne stock to replace but advised us their Melbourne stock was faulty so they sourced them from Sydney). We purchased finger tile / mosaic tiles and they were not sitting flat on the mesh backing which in turn will not sit flat when laid (refer to images) … were were advised that the tiles were fine and they were not prepared to take them back as they felt they had ‘done their bit’ in replacing the first batch … I offered to bring the tiles in to show them the faults to which I was advised ‘that wont be necessary’ they were not even willing to site the tiles to understand our what we were looking at. We took the tiles into their showroom regardless to show them the faults with the hope they would just refund us so we could find perfect tiles to complete our project to which we were told the tiles were fine (even though they were not) and that they would not be offering any credit or refund for the tiles and we were told to leave the store … we have shown these tiles to several tilers and other tile retailers to which all have advised that they were not suitable for sale. I would never recommend any designer, trade or retail customer to purchase from these suppliers because in the unforeseen event your tiles are faulty you will have to fight for a replacement. Some businesses should not have direct dealings with public due to their lack of understanding of empathy, kind, friendly customer service. This is one of them.

As a tradesman I had not come across Cerdomus before. My partner randomly went into the store looking for a special tile for our own home. Wendy was extremely helpful and courteous. They have supplied the tiles we need and I will keep them in mind for future work. Recommend.

Bought Kerakol grout from here and wished we got the tiles from here instead of Tiento (better value). Very helpful service thank you.

My fiancé and I had the best experience with Cerdomus. We can't speak more highly of Matthew. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and really took the time to make sure our desired bathrooms came to life. What I really thought would be a stressful job actually was quite the opposite because of Mathew and the team at Cerdomus. Thank-you once again. Excellent service and beautiful tiles. I love, love, love what we chose!!!

Matthew and Wendy at Cerdomus are amazing! It has been a 12 month journey to choose tiles for our new home (not easy with all the covid 19 lockdowns) and the Cerdomus team have been incredibly helpful, going over and above every time with mailing out samples, sending photos, giving advice over the phone and working out ways to get product to us in short time frames.
