My experience living here was nothing but amazing! I would still be living here if I was not moving to Texas. The leasing managers make everything super easy for you & always available even at 3am lol. I would recommend everyone to move here if you would like the best downtown living experience. Also, the apartment is clean, no loud neighbors. I have nothing negative to say! Absolutely great experience for me!!

Really good management experience, Kara was very responsive and took good care of any issues that I had. Property itself was very clean and well taken care of. If you are up in the air on properties, this is one you can't go wrong with.
I lived here for a little over two years and would stay here again. The location is great (especially for those without a vehicle). There are various coffeeshops, parks, restaurants, bike share stations and other great amenities nearby. Walking distance to the riverfront (great for running). I stayed in a studio and really appreciated the high ceilings and natural light that came from a wall of windows. Roof terrace has great views.
Wow! Moving can be so stressful let alone finding a place! When we met Kate Addy she was thorough, knowledgeable and by far the best property manager we met and we saw several pricey downtown options. She is a superstar and was there for us every step of the way! She also showed us the building emails and marketing to make sure cute t tenants stay in the loop and get updates and upcoming building news. Some of the reviews here are pretty bleak but working with Kate was a breeze and we love our new place! Thanks again!
I lived at Capitol Park Lofts for one year and really enjoyed it. This newly renovated historic building was originally constructed in 1912 and is located in the heart of Detroit's CBD. Buildings of this era have a reputation for being solidly built, so apartments are soundproof (floor-to-floor). Because of the renovated layout, some of the apartments are left with wasted square footage in the form of long hallways and odd angles. While it was great living in an historic building, there were zero amenities except for the sparsely furnished rooftop deck, while rent prices were consistent with nearby apartments that did include amenities. Overall, I enjoyed living here and would recommend it to others looking for proximity to the heart of downtown Detroit.
