We have been visiting this campsite off and on for the past 25 years. We have had the pleasure to see how Jean-Robert and Renate re-invent their business by improving the pitches, adding new pitches and more amenities. The ability to have a meal at the "Snack" remains a massive plus for this site. The Cevennes remains one of the most beautiful parts of France and this is the huge plus when camping at Val de L'Arre.
Lovely quiet campsite, with super-friendly owners who work incredibly hard. Good facilities, large pitches (shady or more open). Onside snack bar for simple evening meal options (omelette, salads etc).
This is one of the best campsites we have ever stayed at. The location is perfect, right next to the river where you can have the most refreshing swim. The cleanliness of the facilities is superb. We had bread and croissants delivered to our camper in the morning. The campsite manager was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back!!
Beautiful little camping ground on the outskirts of le Vigan with a pool and a great athmosphere. The place has a little kitchen that serves food outdoors in the evenings, and if you are lucky you'll catch some live music as well. The kitchen doesn't look like much, but the food they produce is excellent.
Very bad experience. The owner was very rude when we asked for a favour. Very bad for kids. There is a road in the middle of the campsite. The swimming pool was dirty. The river nearby there were rats!!
