C2 has been great in my ACT journey! Sujin, especially, has been wonderful about helping me navigate the application process and apply to schools and the tutors answer any question I throw at them! All around, C2 has been wonderful and I highly recommend it.
C2 has provided me with lots of support in SAT practice and college applications. I have been going to C2 Vernon hills for almost a year and they helped me raise my SAT score from a 1250 to a 1540. When I first joined I was very lost in the process, however, the C2 tutors were very knowledgable and supportive, helping me through all my questions. Not only were they able to dramatically increase my scores and test taking skills, but also improve my confidence in my abilities. I would definitely recommend C2 Vernon Hills.
My daughter had a goal in mind for what she wanted her score to be on the ACT. After about 15 sessions, and lots of practice and work, she took the exam and exceeded her goal! We are more than thankful to C2 for their support and for helping her attain her goal score. If you are serious about putting in the work, their tutors are a great asset. I would absolutely recommend their services. They really worked around her busy schedule and were very flexible.
My son took 50 hours of lessons with C2 that included ACT prep as well as college essay writing. We are happy with the way they worked and communicated with us. We were able to schedule lessons as needed with the instructors we preferred. The instructors worked with us on our goals and provided great insight and strategy. There was frequent communication on his learning. ACT prep is expensive but we had a great experience with C2. I’d recommend them. If you do want to get professional help I will recommend starting in junior year or early senior year to give you enough time to apply and become familiar with test strategy.
Instructors are nice but honestly didn't feel it was worth the money. I came here for a lot of my high school classes, SAT/ACT classes and college essay prep. I didn't feel like C2 helped me prepare for my SAT/ACT at all and the academic class tutoring still left me confused. I was able to score better on my ACT just by committing to a study routine on my own using free resources on the internet. For college essays you can get the same kind of feedback from high school teachers you are close with. I would not reccomend C2 to anyone in HS.
