Decent portions. Means naf all when it’s colder than a corpse though. Loaded nachos, stuffed with cold cheese and meat, expected it to atleast have melted cheese. Maybe it’s because it’s a sunday night? Burrito was stuffed to the brim but also freezing cold
Had lunch a casual business meeting, this Saturday just gone. The server was nice but when she commented that the food at another halal Mexican place in Rusholme was good - I knew the food was going to be sub par. My contact ordered a large burrito and I had a burrito bowl, also large. Both were nasty! Rice was bland, not black beans but baked beans without the sauce, the shredded chicken was bland and I got dribbles of guacamole. Best thing was the Mexican sodas and our very nice server who managed to convince us both to upsize! In the words of Colin Powell, never again. The owners should be ashamed for selling rubbish and charging premium prices.
Burrito Picante never fails to impress. If variety wasn't the spice of life I'd be eating here every day. The quality, taste and freshness surpasses my expectations every time. It's satisfaction guaranteed and the service is second to none.
Ordered a takeaway from here 3 times now. First time everything was fine, food lovely and order correct but the second and third time we had a completely wrong order sent! There were numerous items missing in my burrito bowl, sour cream had been swapped for a spicy sauce and as someone who doesn't like spice I couldn't eat this so it had to be binned! No lettuce, cheese or nachos and had spicy beans instead of black. When I phoned up, the lady didn't give anything in the way of an apology, said they couldn't refund and couldn't deliver a new one. If I wanted a new one I'd have to re order and pay full price. The third time we ordered, I ordered a burrito but what came was a burrito bowl! Completey different order altogether. Won't be re-ordering again which is a shame as the food is nice.
**over a year later edit** As someone else was mentioning in the recent comments the food quality really went downhill here. We ordered recently and the experience we had was underwhelming to say the least. Not sure what's happening with this place but the rating on the delivery apps went down fast. 5th time ordering, this food is top notch. Tasty, gooey, full of flavour. Always our first choice when it comes to weekend takeaway. More people should know about you!!!
