Blume Beauty Bar

My mother and I attended Blume Beauty Bar as an early Christmas treat for her. It was excellent! The service was great, everyone was kind, and their work was astounding. There are some truly artistically skilled people that work here. Our only qualm was the price. Obviously, good treatment and quality comes with such an expense, but this will probably keep us from returning, unfortunately. That being said, if you have a thick wallet, I highly recommend!

Simultaneously the most expensive and the WORST dip manicure I’ve ever had. The afternoon I got them done the clear coat they put on top started chipping off. When I called to ask if they would fix them they said it happens all the time with the clear coat (I’ve been doing dip for over a year and it’s never happened before), but to come back in and they’d fix them. So I had to to miss work to go get the clear coat taken off then reapplied and it’s hasn’t done the peeling/chipping again but I mean…the pictures attached are what I left looking like the first time. You can see all the cuts and knicks on my skin. A week after I got them fixed they started peeling at the tips. I was hoping the reviews were just picky customers but I was wrong. Never wasting my money there again.

I thought I found my new nail salon but I was wrong. Appointments mean NOTHING at this place. Twice now I have had an appt with a specific tech only to not get that person. This second time I wasn’t informed that my tech was not showing up to the appointment until after my dip had been soaked off, so I was left without nails and had my anniversary dinner in a few hours. I am someone that is VERY particular about my nails and make appointments for a reason. I don’t like showing up to my appointment just to find out I’m not getting who I thought I was getting or that my tech is just not showing up at all. I got no phone call ahead of time letting me know. It’s so unprofessional! You have a no show policy for clients but what about when the nail tech no shows the client??? 🤔 You have no respect for your clients time. This last time, I walked out and went to another salon. I wasn’t the only person that walked out either. And no one really seemed to care. I would drive here from Baton Rouge but I’m not wasting any more time or money doing that. There are too many other quality options out there!

I absolutely love Blume Beauty Bar. My nail tech Jules is THE absolute best!!! Not only is she the sweetest person you will ever meet, her talent is unmatched!!! She executes every design and my nails always look immaculate each time. I’m a forever devoted customer now and I’m so happy I found her.

Blume is everything a customer could ask for plus more. Melba has built such an amazing empire and her business is outstanding. I have had my eyebrows Microbladed/touched up a few times now by Sandy (You won’t regret it!) and she is perfection. She takes pride in her work and it truly shows. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. She has exceeded my expectations each time. 150% recommend. (:
