Blooming Glen Farm

An absolute gem of a farm. We got their CSA this year and the bounty and experience of picking things on the farm was a highlight of our summer. I would highly recommend the CSA for families. You get an abundant bounty of seasonal harvests and you can show your children where their food comes from and what it takes to get to their plate. This organic farm team is doing everything right and spreading the love with all that they grow. You can stop by their farm stand at the local farmers markets and get a taste of their amazing bounty.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Blooming Glen Farm's CSA. My husband and I have been members for 5 years and I can't even imagine what spring/summer/fall would be like without being part of this wonderful farm community. We pick up our share every other week (weekly is also an option) and the organic produce is consistently gorgeous. They partner with local growers and businesses, and we have the option to add shares of things like bread, coffee, mushrooms, eggs, cheese, and ice cream. One of my favorite things about being a BGF CSA member is being able to get out into the flower fields and pick a beautiful bouquet each time I pick up my share. The pick-your-own veggies gets me out into the fields to harvest things like cherry tomatoes, shishito peppers, and strawberries. Support and reference is provided for CSA members through their website, which is choc full of helpful information, including a recipe blog featuring ways to use the current week's produce. An active facebook group provides opportunity to share meals and recipes with other members. And the farm has fun events throughout the growing season, like volunteer picking opportunities, insect education for kids, and other fun activities for members. Blooming Glen Farm is truly a special place, and has added so much goodness to our lives.

We have been part of Blooming Glen Farm's CSA for 10 years, and I could not imagine life without these amazing farmers! The CSA pick-ups are outstanding. The variety you receive throughout the season is so fun and helps keep us creative while cooking while also knowing we are giving our family nutritious food that didn't travel long distances. Our daughter has grown up marveling at their beautiful farm, and they have so many fun things for little minds, like their discovery garden and PYO opportunities that are part of your share. Tricia and Tom do amazing community outreach events and programs, and also partner with other local businesses to include add-ons with your share. In recent years we have added on fruit, mushrooms, coffee and ice-cream from other local businesses they've teamed up with. Their CSA program is simply the best way to eat fresh and local, and know you are supporting these incredible farmers and your community. Can't thank them enough for all they do!

We have been members of the Blooming Glen Farm crop share for 10 years and we absolutely love it. No better feeling knowing we are providing fresh and organic produce for our family and at the same time supporting a small organic farmer. We highly recommend checking them out!! In addition to produce they also offer add-on options from other local farms and vendors, in addition to our produce we get shares of eggs, ice cream, cheese, fruit and mushrooms. We love this farm and the hard working farmers!!
