Great young man did thorough exam of my heating system. I feel safe now for the coming winter. Bell has taken care of my unit for 15+ years. Nothing but excellent service.

Very disappointed with the service received from Bell Air Conditioning. Paid a technician $400 to come out and “fix” the unit. Left the clients in a hot house acting as if it was fixed. It was not. Had to call them to come back, came back the next day to try and sell us on a $6,000 unit. Or “fix” it again for $2000. Hired a different company to come and actually fix it for $400. Didn’t need to replace. Didn’t need to take the refrigerant out, didn’t need to do anything that was requested by the company. Easy fix by the other company that wasn’t trying to upsell us. Stuck with a $400 bill for nothing.
My wife and I are an older couple and we used Bell Air Conditioning for over 35 years. We have had absolutely outstanding service from them during this time. They have always been there for us time and time again, when our air conditioning system needed service. Recently, at the beginning of a popular holiday weekend, even when our hot Texas sun's temperature soared in the 100 plus range, they graciously came out on short notice and fixed our air conditioning. Jerry, one of the owners, is one of the nicest and caring individual you will ever meet. Before becoming an owner, Jerry was a highly qualified and experienced technician and loyal employee in the company. He never hesitated to go the extra mile. His outstanding customer service attitude and leadership is reflected in the rest of their employees from the top down throughout the company. Many companies today have lost honest, high quality, old-fashioned service mentality towards their customers. But not Bell Air Conditioning. And we know others who are loyal customers and feel the same way. We are sorry we can give them only five stars. We would give them more if we could.
They came out on a service call & found a leak in the coil. The coil was under warranty & I had to pay labor. They ordered the coil. While the tech was here, I asked to put in a blow out on drain pipe in case it got stopped up. He said he would & gave me a price of $609.00 for the coil and drain pipe repair. When he came out, he installed the coil & forgot to put the drain pipe in. Three weeks later, water was backing up in the house. The tech should have At least blown out the drain pipe before he left on the installation of the coil. The tech was here for 1 hr to install the coil which I was charged $609.00 for installation. I called them with my problem and They wanted charge me a again to come out & put In drain pipe blow out. It would take no more than 15 minutes to do this. Make sure you get the estimate in writing with this company before approving the repair.
We selected Bell Air Conditioning, Inc. to replace our HVAC with the new inverter HVAC system about 13 months ago. Yesterday I had to call company because the system seemed to struggle a bit to cool the house with 92 degree outside. Unfortunately the new highly complex system will need more maintenance compared with old simple system. Technician arrived quickly and diagnosed the issue to loose connection on motherboard. Since the standard labor warranty is only for 12 month I paid $109 for the service. To my surprise I received call from manager later this day and they waived the fee explaining I was only one month outside the labor warranty. Not too many business would do it these days. Shortly after initial replacement they corrected issue with my ducts, which was not a part of original estimate, that was not noticed during original installation at no additional cost. Highly recommend this company.
