Beacon Hill Apartments

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! My grandparents paid a deposit for and promised a 2-bedroom apartment. So, because they were moving here from Louisiana, thousands of dollars were spent getting them packed and having all their furniture and belongings shipped here. Upon arriving, they were shown a 1 bedroom apartment with a den, NOT a 2 bedroom. Clothes were in the washer machine, repairs weren't done, and they were told there was no available 2-bedroom apt. AFTER having them uproot everything and come this way thinking their apartment was ready as told. UNPROFESSIONAL!!! UNRELIABLE!!! LIARS!!! HORRIBLE!!!

Love living here! Alice helped me find my new home, but the whole staff is knowledgeable and great to work with! It’s a perfect location with plenty to do in the area. The complex is like it’s own community with a lot of styles to choose from. Definitely recommend!

Beacon is a great place to live! The facilities and all it has to offer are perfect and very convenient. The staff is great and very accommodating as well! Alice helped me tremendously and was very friendly, making it a great moving experience. It's a great location being very close to downtown Rochester and downtown Auburn Hills along with all the restaurants around. It really feels like home and I couldn't be happier with deciding to live here.

Management started out ‘nice’ until I decided to decline the approved unit. They state nothing to you, after or before approval about MARKET RENT-which is a chance they will shoot your rent up possibly $300( that’s what’s on my lease, at least that I NEVER signed). Katie stated they can change the rent to the MARKET RATE at anytime. I’d think they would make their future tenants aware of such without them having to ask. Why is this ‘little’ disclaimer not on the site, or mentioned after approval? Even if it fluctuates as the market normally does, obviously a note on the site would be very much informative, but I guess that involves common sense. They will try to get you, please read the fine print/entire lease. They did inform me the MARKET RATE is there only if you’re late with rent, which is fine.. but again that should be on the SITE. The older lady working as an accountant was also very rude when I asked a simple question. Apparently I’m not allowed to ask questions, prior to signing a lease- or, was it the question you didn’t like? Says a lot. Katie at the leasing office Stopped taking my calls after I declined the unit, and all of a sudden wasn’t so ‘pleasant’. All of a sudden they don’t have access to their own mail boxes after I’ve informed them I already changed my address and had my Drivers Lincese sent there. I can’t come pick it up because they don’t have access to the mail boxes.. they don’t have keys at all. . you don’t say, huh Katie? Be careful.

Staff is always 100%. They are always helpful and are at your service. The property is taken care beautifully. Apartments are in great condition. Very well kept. The location this is in is awesome. Everything is very close and easy to access. Whenever there is a problem, they are at my convenience.
