Worst hospital experience ever in my life. Got there at 830pm didn’t get to a room til 1140pm no oxygen was offered to me as I sat in the waiting room not being able to breath. An I told them repeatedly I couldn’t breathe an my chest was getting tighter. When I was finally put in a room at 11:40pm a dr didn’t come see me until. 145.(dr chin) He didn’t check my breathing l, vitals nothing!!! he didn’t even give me the results to my flu an Covid I had to ask for them. He told me I had pneumonia but on my discharge papers says something completely didn’t. They discharged me before respiratory therapy even came to my room a gave me my breathing treatment. 1 breathing at that when I could’ve definitely needed more than 1. an I still can’t breath the next day. I was given no meds to go home with. Then the nurse Keisha yelled at my boyfriend when he was trying to find me in the back. Telling him to just push the door that he believe to be locked. An if she wasn’t sitting down eating her Wingstop she could’ve been way more plesent. She never came to check on me just kept asking me if the DR had been in my room. I don’t think I should have to keep up with your hospitals DR. when I’m the patient. An then the Dr. she said wasn’t even the Dr that came in my room. Y’all really to to fix this place all these reviews at very accurate. This place sucks. Next time I’ll go all the way to parkland where I planned to go anyways it was just to far. An I was having a hard time breathing!! Never again big 0 out of 5!!!!!!

TERRIBLE!!! Just terrible! It’s disgusting! The hospital doesn’t even smell like a hospital. The ER waiting area smells like urine! Smells very unclean. I rather use a porta potty before I use the ER restroom. Trash everywhere! The EMT that does the intake is unprofessional! This is a hospital! Not a circus! I understand medical professionals should be friendly, courteous but to let patients run amuck is different. Why do we have a lady in the waiting room yelling and screaming around sick patients? People are here because they don’t feel well and having people be loud and obnoxious is unacceptable. Someone could’ve have politely asked her to sit and keep her voice down. The RN was calling out names and people couldn’t even hear their name because the lady was being so loud and had her phone on speaker 90% of the time we were in that waiting area. I’m going to assume it’s like this at all Baylors across the board because the Dallas one is even worse! Also, I notified them that a specific doctor had us come here and my mom should be admitted asap but didn’t happen. I understand there’s protocol to follow but we have written proof of what we were told. Baylor used to be one of my favorite hospitals but I rather die at home than be around this filth and that’s including its employees.

Edit! To the liar who responded below i called, emailed, NUMEROUS TIMES and NONE of your representatives have called me back. You don't take action or any concerns seriously. My son walked out yesterday after being there 5 hours and NEVER GOT TO SEE A DOCTOR! Your own employee told me this is the most dysfunctional, unorganized hospital they have been employed at and for me to avoid It if I can. What an embarrassment! If I could get ZERO stars I would. I will also NEVER recommend this place to anyone . Plus you just lost my business ever again. I went into the ER at 12:30 am for shortness of breathe chest pains. They saw me in triage and kept my cuff on because she said they will need to continue to monitor my blood pressure because my blood pressure was very high. Dr Thibodeaux was the attending Dr. who came in and asked what my chief complaint was and I told him and gave him a run down history of my health. He turned around and asked me what did I want him to do about it? Seriously? Idk, umm, in case you don't know, I'm not a doctor If I was, I wouldn't be here asking you, how you can help me now wouldn't i? Had he reviewed my paperwork before entering the room rather than coming in empty handed he would have known why i was there. He would have known my blood pressure was high and that triage left my cuff on so he can hook me up and continue to monitor my heart. I also had congestion and thought maybe i had pneumonia because my chest and back was hurting. So I said, "idk maybe do a chest xray," although i feel he should have known protocol when having a 45 year old patient with chest pains and shortness of breath he should have done an egk stat!!! Not being able to breathe was affecting my mental health as well and I told him that too. My anxiety and depression was through the roof! I was an unstable patient that very moment. He ignored all my pleas for help as well as protocols, and responded to me saying that an xray would be "unnecessary radiation." He already made me feel concerned when he asked me what I wanted him to do making me think he doesn't know what he's doing. Also where is the LACK OF EMPATHY OR COMPASSION when you have a patient that thinks their dying is being treated like dirt? How are you gonna tell me it's unnecessary radiation? Do you have a miracle doctor with xray vision working there? He walked out of the room real pissy like. He never mentioned what he was going to do next and left me and my husband sitting there questioning what was going on. So since he walked and left I walked out and left too! I refuse to have a doctor with lack of compassion and respect for their patients touch me or treat me. He not once touched me, listened to my heart, lungs nothing anyway. I got home at about 1:30 am and called Mirka, the ER supervisor and she told me she would direct my complaint to the Director of the ER Jeremy Cidd and that he would call me back the following Monday. He never did. I called back and he told me he would direct this to the Administrator of the ER. Here it's almost a month later not one person has EVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALL! NOW, I've received 2 ER bills FOR WHAT????????? SERVICES WERE NOT RENDERED!!! He did nothing but make me feel like my life is worthless. I received nothing but unethical treatment and here I'm being charged. Once I got in to see my own pcp and told her what happened she was appalled and disappointed. She put me on medication for my heart and said I could have had a heart attack. I will be filing a complaint with patient relations as well as the board of medical directors on Dr. Thibodeaux for unethical treatment. I will also be disputing charges for services that were not rendered. I'm still waiting for a supervisor or someone who actually does their job and really cares for some help. So far, I've been shown nothing but lack of compassion all the way around from the doctor down to the supervisors. I am also seeing that this is very common practice at this place by reading all the reviews with similar complaints. Ya'll need to do better!!!

I went in for radiology thyroid scan two days in a row. I chose this hospital because it wasn't very big and I am kind of crippled up so I can't walk far and they had parking right out front. So the parking was good. They are one of the only places who does thyroid uptake scan. I called and pestered who answered the phone before going and they were real nice and helpful. Some of their names were Tammy and Genevieve and then Tara in radiology. When I arrived they were ready for me and quickly checked me in and took me to radiology down the hall. There was no extensive waiting even though I was a little early. Everyone was just organized and had everything coordinated. Having read some bad reviews about the ER, I can't speak to that, but I will say that I found the hospital parts I was in to be nice and clean. I had seen some bad reviews saying dirty linens. I saw a couple of people on gurneys and their linens were clean looking. Maybe they worked on it or got some more help. And again, I was not in the ER but I know ERs are traditionally slow and ironically sometimes not the best place to go in an emergency. I would not hesitate to go back here. It was much easier than any hospital in Dallas I could have chosen.

My mom was having extreme stomach pains and puking non stop from 4 am. Her MD referred her to this ER, my first time here. She was admitted around 9:30 am and they took blood to run test. I got there at 10:30 am exactly and the first thing I noticed was the filth. The gurney my mother was laying in had left over dried blood…..there was trash on the floor and nothing seems like it was cleaned. I get that places are short staffed and busy but this is supposed to be a medical facility, why is it dirty?! Unacceptable. The nurse and tech only checked on her a few times but I had to ask them several times when she’d be getting pains meds and each time they acted clueless. She came to the ER for pain so the general confusion was very upsetting. She finally received pain meds at 12:40 pm..and we were checked out at 2pm..I don’t mind waiting, I get it. But communication and just a sense of care would help a lot. & CLEAN UP. If I’m dying and the paramedics say they’re going to this ER, I will make my peace and tell them to drop me off on the side of the road. Zero stars
