Joubert our guide was very kind and welcoming. The museum brings back good memories of my family.

Super nice staff and the displays were equally pleasing and informative. Will definitely recommend to friends and family when they are in the area.
The museum at the American Italian Cultural Center was most popular informative about the significant role Italian and Sicilian immigrants in New Orleans.
A nice little museum that is worth visiting. Informative displays.
Website says museum is open on Saturday’s. The recorded telephone message says museum is open on Saturday’s. But when we walked 35 minutes to visit the museum on a Saturday we found it closed. Obviously the staff do not have any respect for people’s time. All they needed to do was to update the recoded telephone message but even that was too much work for them. We will never go back.
I went to this wonderful wine and cheese tasting this Wednesday. It was fantastic. Besides that event I visited the not to be missed, greatly researched and interactive museum of the Italians who arrived to make up so many of our historically famous Americans.
Fascinating account of Italian immigrant experience in Louisiana , beautifully renovated museum space in historical New Orleans building. They offer a floor of event space also.
A hidden gem! How did I go my whole life not knowing the contribution of my family to this city I have visited so often?
