Alta Star Harbor

There are undoubtedly some impressive aspects of Alta Star, but there are a few significant drawbacks that prevent me from giving the community a 4 or 5 rating. Let's start with the positives—the amenities offered by this apartment complex are great. From the communal spaces to the well-equipped fitness center, it is evident that the management team put a lot of thought into these spaces. Also, the building team is exceptional in their professionalism and responsiveness, just good people to interact with. Despite these aspects, there are a couple of areas that fall short of expectations. The most significant drawback is the lack of soundproofing within the apartment units. Regrettably, this is the worst soundproofing I have encountered in any apartment in the Bay Area. I can vividly hear when my neighbors arrive home, yawn in the morning, watch TV, etc. My neighbors are not being obnoxious at all. The sounds just permeate through the walls. Another issue is the keyless entry feature, which, in theory, seems like a convenient option. However, in practice, it is more of an inconvenience when you need to ensure your device is constantly charged, which can become quite burdensome. There are instances where I’ve already had to leave an event early just to ensure I could make it back home on time, as the fear of being locked out is always lingering.

Alta Star Harbor is definitely a 5-star experience! I was delighted to be assisted by Leasing Agent Jordan Daniel when given a tour of the property. He was of much help and expressed great knowledge and welcoming energy.

Gorgeous complex with a lot of potential for the future. The area is safe and clean and looks like it’s continuing to be renewed as a whole. If you’re interested in this place I recommend getting on the phone with their leasing agent, Jordan. He’s super helpful and informative. Won’t leave anything up to question, which I know I appreciate when looking for a new place to live. 10/10 recommend.
