The Skinology Clinic Buckshaw village

I cannot recommend Kristy and the Skinology Clinic highly enough. I went in at my wits end. My skin was sore, inflamed and really affecting my self esteem. Kristy took the time to listen to my concerns and before she had even done the first hydro facial treatment had given me so much valuable advice as to why my skin had become so inflamed. Without her taking the time to really delve in to my routines I would still be over using products that were damaging my skins barrier so not only did she treat my skin but also the underlying causes. The Skinology clinic is a lovely relaxing setting where you can totally relax and enjoy the treatments. The treatment itself is fantastic - I described it to my friends as feeling like someone is giving your face a really good deep clean and reset. I love the gunk pot - so satisfying to look at! Kristy talked me through each step and adapted the treatments to meet my skin needs at each appointment. She is super friendly and made me feel at ease from the off, this really makes a difference especially when you feel so self conscious about your skin and you can tell she is so passionate about helping people with their skin concerns. The difference in my skin is amazing and it’s all thanks to the work Kristy has done - I can’t wait to come back!

I attended yesterday for a Alumier facial peel, which I loved. Kristy went through a thorough consultation prior to the peel and was really knowledgeable. The treatment experience was really relaxing and my skin feels amazing afterwards. Would highly recommend.

First visit to the clinic today. I had the deluxe hydrafacial and it was amazing. A really thorough consultation and each step of the process was talked about. It was lovely to have a tailored experience down to the music in the background. A small business that could easily be mistaken for being in a fancy 5 star spa. Will absolutely be rebooking!

The best hydrafacial I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been having facials for around 10 years, and have had numerous hydrafacials at various salons. The facial by Kristy at skinology beats them all. From the beautiful salon surroundings, to the calming music, hand massages and Kristy just being a lovely person to chat to, with lots of knowledge on what products are best for my skin, I’ll always come back here. I felt relaxed and refreshed afterwards with lots of great comments about my skin. Can’t wait for my next one!

I’ve always had really easy skin, no spots, no issues not even as a teenager. Then I hit 42 and I suddenly started to develop issues with my skin which was incredibly frustrating. I felt very self conscious. I met with Kristy after becoming disillusioned with my GP after being prescribed a variety of different treatments which in fact seem to be aggravating the situation. Since starting my treatments at The Skinology Clinic I have seen a huge improvement in my skin texture and all round glow! The Hydrafacial feels like a full MOT for your skin. Following a detailed face scan and listening to Kristy’s in depth knowledge of the Alumier products, I have seen my skin really improve after sticking to my new skincare regime. In a world of Botox and fillers it’s so nice to have someone who knows how to get the most out of your skin. Kristy is also the best company and it’s hard not to chat during treatments!!

I have been to The Skinology Clinic three times now for a Hydrafacial and each time my skin has felt amazing and the benefits have been unbelievable. I have had a different process in terms of the products used each time, which was due to my skin needing something different. This is when Kristy really does make you feel like you are in good hands with her knowledge and expertise. I didn’t feel rushed and she takes her time when initially looking at your skin to know what treatment you would be best suited to. I am now a regular client as I am seeing and feeling the benefits just after three facials. The clinic itself is stunning and feels like you are in a spa. I have learnt that it is important to trust the process and invest in yourself. Money can return but the way you feel in your own skin is priceless. Had a fantastic Hydrafacial in this gorgeous clinic. Kristy is so knowledgeable about all things skin and after scanning my face was able to provide me with a detailed analysis of my skin. The treatment itself was amazing, my skin has never felt so clean, glowing and refreshed. Kristy makes it even more relaxing by giving you an arm and hand massage whilst you are under the lamp- part of the facial. 3 weeks on and my skin still feels great and my usual monthly hormonal breakout is significantly calmer than usual. Can't thank Kristy enough and can't wait for my next visit.

Visited the Skinology Clinic due to concerns with my hormonal (pregnancy) skin. Kristy conducted a full skin analysis using the facials scanner, and was able to provide a treatment plan that not only has helped my skin in a matter of weeks, but is safe during pregnancy. Kristy took the time to fully research every product and broke down everything to ensure I was confident and comfortable with all the products being safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The clinic is so beautiful, calm and relaxing, all whilst being located in a private setting. I can’t wait to come back in for my course of treatments, and excited to continue my skincare journey after pregnancy!

Booked in for a skin consultation at the Skinology clinic with Kristy Kristy scanned my skin with her facial scanner and did an in depth skin consultation from my results. Kristy then recommended a treatment package for my skin concerns. Kristy was so knowledgeable and friendly and put me at ease straight away! The clinic is beautiful, clean, private and so relaxing! Not to mention how cosy and warm the treatment bed and room is! I have had three treatments out of my package so far and my skin already looks and feels amazing! I am so glad I found the Skinology clinic and can’t thank Kristy enough!
