If one word could subscribe The 1819 Innovation Hub it’d be Modern! Where else can you walk in and see an actual lab with working manufacturing facilities that make things right in front of you! UC is at the forefront of the new tech movement allowing startups and companies to design and build future products.
Had the opportunity to attend the grand opening of the University of Cincinnati 1819 Innovation Hub. This is the place where university and research meet community and industry. Truly the future!
The 1819 Innovation Hub is just that! A Makerspace, where UC students can go to create and explore new ideas. Parking is plentiful. Diagonal from KFC restaurant. The CTAP (The Cincinnati Talent Acceleration Program)- 15 week hybrid training program takes place here. You'll learn Tech skills and improve on Math, Reading, and Language Arts skills. Classes held both in the morning and evening. Orientation is required. This is a golden opportunity for those who have the time and means to go to class on site. Go for it! Tell others you know! Individual businesses are also onsite. 1819 Innovation Hub is a resource to the Cincinnati community.
Cincinnati, both the City/Region and the University are fortunate to have the Innovation Hub here. They are pushing innovation, collaboration, and marketable creativity to the next level. Their impact is already being felt, and their dedication to making the City and the University a model of regional collaboration, innovation and livability will benefit our entire state.
A real asset for our city plus a great example of urban reuse and revitalization. This place is a true home for industry and academia to collide to bring innovation to life. Several large Cincinnati companies have innovation centers here to tap into the upcoming talent, plus there is a huge maker space on the first floor. The University of Cincinnati also has both a research institute and Venture Lab here.
